The handset is specifically targetted at businesses and government institutions with a strong requirement for accurate and flexible means of resource monitoring, as well as ensuring ongoing security of mobile staff.

TWIG Discovery Pro is an advanced communication device now capable of establishing GPRS connections for data exchange. By using the MPTP protocol, TWIG Discovery Pro can be
configured to connect to any emergency centre that uses voice, SMS or TCP/IP
(GPRS) for Telematics. This feature alone will provide considerable cost efficiencies in the daily handset management.

When using the Professional version of the phone, you will have an additional peace of mind when in an emergency situation. The panic button can be used even if the phone is switched off - just hold the button for a few seconds and the phone will switch back on and commence the mergency procedure.

The Pro edition of the handset has extensive remote control and customisation functionality via the Telematics protocol (MPTP) - including user interface and menu lock, as well as the need to confirm position inquiries on the phone's end.
